4. Bank Account Connections

The Services allow you to connect your bank accounts via Plaid to enable features like transaction monitoring and budgeting insights. When you connect your accounts:
 

  • Authorization: You authorize us and Plaid to access and retrieve financial information from your financial institutions.

  • Data Handling: Financial data is collected, stored, and used in accordance with this Privacy Policy and Plaid’s End User Privacy Policy. You also agree to Plaid’s End User Services Agreement.

  • Credentials: We do not store your bank login credentials; these are handled securely by Plaid.

  • Risks: Data transmission to Plaid involves a third party. While we and Plaid use industry-standard security, no system is entirely risk-free. We are not responsible for Plaid’s performance, data breaches at Plaid or your financial institutions, or data inaccuracies.

  • Revoking Access: You can revoke Plaid access via Plaid’s dashboard (my.plaid.com) or our Services, which may disable certain features.

5. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information as follows:
 

  • With Plaid: To facilitate bank account connections, as described in “Bank Account Connections.”

  • Service Providers: With trusted vendors (e.g., hosting, analytics, or payment processors) who are contractually obligated to protect your data and use it only for specified purposes.
